english premed requirement

Hi all,

 

I am hoping to take English next year to fulfill the requirement for most med schools. The problem is, I dont have a preference for a specific school and each school has its own specific requirements. But I was wondering if there are a general number of English courses out there (like writing, literature etc) that you can take which would satisfy most schools requirement of English???

 

I would appreciate any comment

In general, taking a year of english (or 2 semester course) that involve some writing/essay component will meet the english requirements.
