Certificates?

Hey guys!

 

I am new to premed101. This is my first time applying. Do you think it is worth it to add certificates you earned in high school for getting the highest mark in the class? For example, I got the highest mark in all my grade 12 math courses, biology and chemistry.

Add them, but in a single entry- "High school subject awards(?)"- "...awards for highest marks in math1/math2/bio/chem, etc etc..." something along those lines.

If you got the awards since the age of 16, add them. But like a previous poster said, you may want to add them as 1 entry.

What about accomplishments/certificates related to our employment (Im a clinic nurse) - for instance, I earned certification in well woman training at mcmaster health center (e.g., pap tests and breast exams), as well as training in tobacco counselling for pregnant women, and responding to domestic violence and assault in clinical settings etc...would you include these and where? Awards and accomplishments? Other?

Belle_rn I would definitely put in those achievements! They would go in the awards section

Hmmm i think you could do it either way. If it was me I would probably do them separately so it's more likely that whoever is looking over my file actually reads them, instead of having only a few characters worth of space to describe all of them at once
