Anyone on here know about becoming a certified personal trainer?

Hey,

So recently I have been looking into becoming a certified personal trainer, since it would be a pretty awesome and unique extracurricular activity for applying to medical schools, it would also help me out a lot for my own workouts if I had a better understanding about training/conditioning/nutrition (and I spend a ton of time at the gym), and it also may offer part-time job opportunities.

 

Does anyone know how you get this licencing in Canada? I was searching around and there seems to be a ton of agencies offering "official" certification, but I was wondering which ones are actually legitimate. Thanks a lot.
