I'm about to leave the country for an extended period of time. I have yet to hear from the UofA about my application status. Do ya'll think there's still hope for being waitlisted...or should all of those letters be already received? :\

I'm not sure. But, if you haven't already, it might be a good idea to tell the office of admissions that you would like to appoint someone else (like a parent or spouse) to reply to any offers of admission or waitlist for you in your absence. Even if you don't get on the waiting list now, there's still hope. A few years ago, I know of someone that was initially rejected but then got accepted because they exhausted the original waiting list!

Thanks for the quick reply!!! I filled out that "third-party" form that was sent with the interview invitation. Do you think I still need to e-mail them then? I appreciate your help!:)
