hotdamn Posted December 25, 2012 Report Posted December 25, 2012 I'm looking into second year programs and I've heard good things about Biochem at Mac. Any premeds enrolled in it? What's ur opinion on it? How difficult is it compared to others? Are research opportunities plentiful?

I'm in the health sciences program there, specializing in biomedical sciences, so I take a lot of the same courses as those in the biochem program, and the research opportunities are indeed plentiful! You have research project courses in third and fourth year, so you're really exposed to a lot of research in undergrad. I think it's an excellent program!

Probably one of the more difficult programs out there, if not the most. PM if you have more questions.
