starmile2829
Is it ok to cancel an interview a week before it's scheduled, and after you had previously asked to get it rescheduled? I don't want to do anything considered unprofessional but I'd like to know if this is ok, or common.

Lactic Folly
If you can't attend, it's better to let them know as soon as possible. Be polite and apologetic.
goleafsgochris
Sounds like a ****ty thing to do. Why? I doubt this would surprise anyone that many med students apply to way more programs then sound desirable once interviews role around.

I barely managed to arrange all my interviews and it wasn't that complex a situation. As long as you are respectful I don't see too much of an issue with this. starmile2829
It all worked out ok, they weren't mad. It was actually over 2 weeks before the interview, I got mixed up.
