    • Yes, I would stay in Saskatchewan

As people mentioned already... they will be making changes to the admissions policy... I'm sure... most of you guys will (or have already) written the MCAT by now... I'm curious to know... if you do get accepted at U of S and anywhere else (U of A, UBC, U of T, etc)... will you guys stay in Saskatchewan???

I find most applicants (who are accepted) will go elsewhere because:

-U of S is one of the 'lower' ranking med schools (it actually ranked at the bottom in the past years)

-Education standard/quality is substandard compared to other medical schools

-Accreditation Issues that were brought up

-Weather sucks F##king sh!t

- "Forced" to study at a location that is not your main choice (Regina vs Saskatoon)

-MOST IMPORTANTLY: You have already written the MCAT... so there's no real reason for you to stay in Saskatchewan... as the only thing that appealed the vast majority of pre-meds was the 'two year policy'

On the other hand, people may stay because:

-Province of residence

-They love the weather! (cough... cough...)

-Mentally challenged? (Can't think of any good reasons...)

Don't worry made the poll anonymous... so feel free to vote!

Cough... cough... Saskatoon being great... hahahaha... even if it was in California... the quality would be subpar... Apparently, there were some issues saying that medical students graduating from Saskatchewan when taking their residency... were deemed to be missing many important competencies... in other words, if you are a medical student in Saskatoon... you better look into going into residency here...
