nosuperman
Back in the day I set up Google Reader to subscribe to CBC Health, 2minutemedicine, and few science-related blogs (scienceblog.com pretty good start). If you don't use RSS feeds, check out Google Reader and learn about RSS. Makes it super easy - you just sign into one spot and all of the articles and content from your subscribed sites is in one place and one format. Also check out itunes for podcasts. Pretty much every major journal puts out a 10 minutes "This is the gist of whats in the latest publication" podcast.
rmorelan
This is pretty much the only premed forum in Canada although there are a number of premed blogs (we should encourage that sort of thing more, hmmmm). Of course there is the SDN in the US - as a lot of useful information as well although of course with less of a Canadian focus. They do have information on a lot of new advances in medicine as well. apache
i know totally lame, but im on google scholar couple hours a day in between writing boring **** which makes me money... on an aside, i've been glued to the handbook of medical psychiatry, its the best psychology book ive read, easily over hundreds, while the dsm may break something to four categories with criterion of differentiation based on untuition and a nuanced stat sig to patent something new for each, lol, new condition, this spent 50 pages talking about 5 factors, novelty seeking, risk avoidance, reward seeking (and all of the variant rewards and their interactions with other characteristics... and avoidance the last i believe... wow, every neurbiological anomaly on, i remember in 2nd year uni i was more psychologically oriented, but honestly, while i still am, im shifting to bio, without insinuating it's detministic.. i suspect feeback but im extreme aggressive, extreme persistance, seek reward in that i love people and will rarely lose a friend over a fight (obviously why i like cluster b girls, i don't like boring, and when were right on par, we **** with eachother for fun, and it becomes a team thing, instead of each having a role, you work together both as persistent, like, give up, my brain doesnt process it, before someone sais im bragging, failing litterally means i keep going till i succeed, hence the hyperfocus (it's interesting, adhd people who are novelty seeking would do better in school if we taught them english in front of a gymnasium... my teachers called my dumb, and now well, a couple thousand people i need just to get my heart beating, i have almost no risk avoidance... like u know wut, im sorry, i know i said other people need to study psych more to help people, but for **** sakes, this 1600 page double textbook will be gone in a week and a half, and knowing nothing about stuttering, and using phenomenology, he doesnt stuftter when we both read, but does alone... considering the fact that i;ve tried almost every drug, thanks neurology, i can tell you, singular, pure mental focus with little somatic anxiety is pure dex.... go figure... sometimes you don't need to know transporters, reuptake blocking properties and welll, all the book stuff, where i get to teach my doctor now, and seriously, mpd substype with personalities who present as demons, yeah, cured that, and well, i don't get ppl who get pushed around, like i think of that and say, well, theres a reason a number 1 schooll wanted me after year 1, because i was doing betty for next year, and i told them i wanted stan... so yeah. i also put in thousands of hours of counselling. so **** you loser, im sorry at 25 u dont like harm reduction, and cant dispute me, join the club... but u take what i work for away, well, im fun, as in ill out smart you, then out legal you, or sometimes switcheraoo if faculty is around, nothing like a big holy **** this guy might be criminally negligent one day... yeah, that's why i wasn't displaying for the residents, but teaching... i'm sorry, you deal with enough near suicides and body language, process,e everything is second nature, and soler is not ubiquitous, and serious, don't teach to use all the time, especially in early stages where building rapport might mean engaging slight cynicism is ur dealing with a cynical kid... then you can open up to positives slowly, but soler makes you loook like another one mom and dads high priced tools... thats a likely quote, soler is more for say, recent bereavement... but ****, i guess that's why i was teaching, because well, no clear cut answers... but still flawless... yeah, plus 500 people telling you stuff they tell no one, period, because literally, im almost unoffendable, i dont care if ur into pee sex with your wife, ive heard everything, and met half the murderes on local tv, yeah, ppl kill people in passion, you felt insecure, unloved and cheated so feel wanted... it's over... so lets work on a solution... that's when tears and a life story come out... yeah, she was expecting mr to call her a slut most likely... anyways, just judging by everyone being as boring sexually on average on the same level as a mild sexual deviant... with far greater proportions into stuff we all deny we've heard off, there's also potential love, and i lied, i love adhd chicks as well as the cerbral predator... 5'4 120 dark hair tatooed type, cause seriously, lifes short sitting downs hard me sometimes... i guess yeah, another symptom, finally, i love rock am ring... and again, not being cocky, id love to play 100 k people, ctrh and cortisol killed my amygdala and i already have extra da and ne in the wrong areas, so yeah, iuno, i just watched a billy talent song, yeah, that would be clean, and honestly, why worry, this is extreme, you're wired, you think im missing a note... even those tacky tapping notes... i wanna be skt high and playing queens of the stone age, least and not any dimminished never ending stocatoes, i want a song with a whole song lead and the rhythym going onm cause like ****... 100 k ppl, thats euphoria, it could get even betterm you know, i hear amino acids increase concetration... but might be bad for you, good think i know everything about simulants, preventing auto-oxidative down reg, poreventing mitochondrial uncoupling, heatshock proteins... magnessium is a nice u dosed glutamate antagonist, delsym is convenientm amantadine is cheap, and memantine is going to be marketed as adjunct therapy when its not 200 a month... cause u know, parasynaptic glia sense the calcium taken up from end of the cell and effect transmission... shoot, ever wonder why i write a lot, i have a lot of neuroglia in my temperoparietal, how long does this take most people, cause im like at 3:50, then u have alterations in intracellular glt receptors, there's circular feedback, and mak kinase... which i spent like housrs trying to figure out how to dephosphorlate... yeah, couldnt do it, slows da synth, except my neuroglia sort of help me out... hypothetically thow in alpha 1 and beta 1 blockers... the new 5htc3 slee cycle med not in north america yet, wait for the sun to make that melatonin seronin, realize we don't need sleep, at least if regen was your answer, of course not like a i publish this stuff, but ive done 150 hours no cognitive effects inflammation... so yeah, what was i saying, yeah, i don't care if someone religious, leave it at home out of med, and dont trash me in a such a way that you look malignant and vindictive... well, guess you didn't know back then, i was doped when i actually listened to neuros, all in my head, darn, got treatment rite on visit two... well, the impairment in spatial processing means an awful 2 years of depersonalization... so yeah, if we want we can **** treatment, talk about trauma, sexual assault endocrinological effects, and how these texts always say ltp at gaba a inhibitory neurons synapse by downregged 5ht2a dont ltp... it's gaba b, which is why the benzo is transiently effective and not a perm fix, then again, the inverse reg of 5ht2a and d2 prob prevented schizo in me... lol, yeah, thats a bit of bragging, oh, and when u get intimidated here, a woman runs through bad psych conditions... except im frustrating, it would suck when someone knows every exclusion criterion verbatim... espec after u find neutral, get told me evangie to change it, straight lie, and ur final cycothymia suggesting has to rule out adhd, which cost lot more than mr jesus was willing to pay 45 g instead of 10, ****... with hotels... 55... you know, i don;t normally seem eccentric, like a blue shirt stands out against grass and not the sky, but yeah, im sorry, getting asked out every day by using the fact that well, i can talk deeply about well, i was gonna skip math, but i can def extrapolate conclusions, since math is just simple language, and are interchangeable, just the chage the operation modulating rules and replace 0 with word, the linearity and relative value can still be preserved, bet that would work for strong verbal thinkers who struggle to conceptualize the abstract ( i just transpose to words, i ****ing did my dat by say tangental to, perpendicular... on the pat) wow, i independently figured out flashlights for synching occipital and prefrontal loves to low beta firing rate... it;s been done... but shoot, im going bottom up, and well, with high percentage correaltion between my predictions based on minute details and clin effects... so well, yeah, u know those thousands of hours, fighting my own legal ****, procuring lawyers after i proved you lied from a single number on a date pad, and this is one of innumerable... dont be anything less than perfect with me, remember, im persistant to a insane extent, i can study for 15 hours... adhd is a regulatory disorder, which is why i dont study stuff that im not passionate about or bores me... which is why i seem a ****, im not passionate about proving i know more about psych than almost every non mdphd clinician in canada, that's not hard, i don't even give a ****... i'm more excited about enrolling in an mdma cin trial for ptsd... i get tired of hearing im smart, i get called a genius everyday, and its opposite of wut i want to hear, i hear over and over i could never do that... believe me... you can do it, the person just has no interest and prefers relaxing... i need novelty... which is why i demanded a transfer, im sorry, u know most people in med are pretty 50th percentile down the scale, but well, crime means jail, and having a flashback about the girls i remember that had been raped isnt pleasant... so maybe i was told by evangie we keep things quiet cus he doesn't know the extent, but i've got nothing to lose, execept money to make writing some books people love to read... everyone loves to hear about betrayal, lol, even a short history of drug regulation... mostly racist attempts to serve economic needs at the cost of ignorant populace... honeslty, i think everyone should be allowed adderall... correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure if you take oral non methylated amps versus smoking uo everyday, well, the later is far more likely to cause schizo... so why can't people choose their experience and perceptions... again, whats intrinsicallyb unethical about cosmetic psych... id have no problem prescribing bremalomelatonide when it's out to a couple who wants great sex, wanna write a book, sure 15 mg a day won't hurt... and seriously no one considers depressions cyclical nature, i remember being on ssri's for vision, it was a fake content happy... contra 45 mg of adderall getting you straiught a's, next semter a 20 h scholarship, now u have a car, routine, you get out of the rut, and i know certain environmental factors... mostly associated with external locus of control, learned helplessness, that won't change after you come off those ssri's, but the momentum of changing you're life via a dopaminergic can be built via habit while we ween down... honestly... why do we even have ssri's, we have better ssre's for the depressed, and once profits max, we have non tolerance or amnesic benzos coming out, im sure panic attacks will be a huge market for high dose ssri's when we can give out say intermediate half life, tolerance free, minimally sedative, non amnesic benzos,,, yeah, lol, im not even going to deny it, i can tell you another 15 drugs, with the same minutia which makes the average clinicians description a solar system, compared to every planetary fact i know... and serious, i know this for almost every nutritional supplement, things not even in canada... yeah, i'm sorry, the whole privelage to be a ***** and be lucky im getting to be a doc for not shutting up when i talk people who dont get talk, and im just too intimidating to out debate, even get one point in... i do like psych, for reasons i wont mention, but they're pure and ethical (and even if it werent, it shouldnt matter, cause im sorry, the registrar for med illness... should never be a psych, because it;s easy to throw bs around, but again, sorry, i dont know many people that memorize the bs they don;t believe in just because the dsm has some rediculous legal authority, how about the fact that i can get people to talk about their worst problems, have had 13 people tell me casually meeting me was they reason they never committed suicide... if anyone has the balls to even get in my way, the last resort, well i work so hard, im not having someone take it away, and i know the intellect differential is exponential, but for me to pick through a 1/3 of emails and just dissect this stuff, its obvious why i need that cluster b girl, u think political organizations are friends with people, no, they cut liabilities, but thats not enough, so u know what, that stuff in my head... its called just sick, and its called there wont be half a ref agency ... cause there's a box of evidence, and well 5 years, and if anyone panics and gets scared, threatens me, bad idea, remember, i know everyone so lets see if they can find me a trasnfer ill take a blood and gut effort, but i need proof, otherwise, cbc will have a field day... so hard better mean it just wasnt available, and i know we can go to us too, of course, im not paying tuition... cali would be nice... yeah, like i said, i get what i want, not because i deserve anything, but when i work for something, and can help people, that's a no, and that no is a statement, and you know, there's a reason ur both first name basis, because i don't respect one of you, and if i have to do law to got to another med school, enjoy homelessness bud because your buds cant even spend 150 k to get me out of the way, because well, ive beeing reading law since 16, and verbally, welll, lets just say on computer 2 wit the other 300 pages, harvard has a nice disabilities rights centre, and one paper would be enough, i have god knows, 50... like i said, i love people who dont think living according to their values warrants others suffering... and if i wanted to prove my intelligence or anything like that, medicine is a glass ceiling, i;d be a lawyer, i think more well, have my cake and eat it too... make 7 figures, and maybe some politics, i love a crowd, and cutting those 6 milion opthos, plus i hear you get good coke as an mp, lol, just jokes, only my medication, medicine is for illness of course, who would ever want to enhance life... a dollar is someone knows aubrey de gray.... ****... maybe your write m dude... i am freaky, it;s not one thing, it's just on and on, i guess thats why they pay so much to edit, most people prob take hours to do those 8 pages, takes me like 1.5, nice 200 bucks..., man, editing, selling ssre's here, even this video game proprietor taking dvantage of the poor and seling to rich nostalgic eyes has a 75 percent profit margin... bad idea, i have no overhead, can scope out most profitable items, and make another 2 g cash a week... funny eh, i have so many of these things, it's more than most non roads docs could make if i didnt care more about novelty, and well, living the extraordinarym money means ****m serious, med for money means ur not very creative, and overworked... in reponse to atom, i also do funding stuff, write letters that play by specific rools for loopholes to get cash or save it... i dunno how ur in medicine for money... money is simple, buy something people want, or in my case, u know why i write... i dont care if you read, temperoparietal devel, its called intellectual capital, my thoughts are worth money, just like surgeons actions are worth money, also why my psych makes that insane ammount, shes sort of smart... then again, finnish a book from the library on psychometrics and my bsc, which rather than the whole record setting number of awards thing and nsercs... could be a 2.3 and get me 70 g, and i could apply to ****ty usask law, use privelage to protect communication, and tach people how to fake it for custody, thats worth 2-3 g a day... yeah, anyhooo, im going to learn about concerta and adderally phenomenelogically... ciao. http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/ http://www.newswise.com/ are two sites that were used to feed the
