Dropping / Leaving Grad School before graduating...

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know which med schools (if any) do not require that you've finished grad school before admission? I understand that going into graduate school to fill time is not ideal, but my advisor doesn't seem to have a problem with the idea of starting a masters, and letting me go if I get into med next year (as long as I don't drop my project and leave as soon as I get my acceptance).

Also, for the ones that do require you to have graduated, does that mean that anyone who's gone to graduate school then dropped out / decided to pursue alternate options can never apply (unless they return and finish their degree)?

Thanks for any insight.

Western will to start with. Not sure what would happen if you start another degree directly other than the rules imply you would just have to finish the new one.
