mimi.mtl
Hi guys, I'm only just realizing now that the reference letters that were to be submitted as part of the grad package had to be sealed in an envelope and signed on the seal by my referees! I didn't have this done is this a big deal/deal breaker!? Kinda worried...anyone else ever had a similar experience in previous application cycles? I didn't have this done is this a big deal/deal breaker!? Kinda worried...anyone else ever had a similar experience in previous application cycles? Sorry to hear about that. U of T specifically requests that these letter be sealed and signed, so if you did not do that, they may simply ignore those references. Since you still have 3 ref letters from OMSAS, they will look at those. It's most unfortunate, but definitely not a deal breaker.

lost__in__space
To be honest i'm not sure if I had my grad applicant letters signed on the back...although my supervisors might have done it out of custom. I'm sure they perhaps signed the actual letter they sent which may be sufficient for them? Why not email the MD admissions and ask?
mimi.mtl
I called them yesterday they said that it shouldn't be a big deal. they said that, if anything, the admissions committee might contact me to ask why they weren't in sealed envelopes. They also might not. I feel better now haha.
