canuckmed
Hello all, I had a quick question regarding schools that only consider your two best years (Western, Dal and....I'm not sure? Anyone want to help out here too? lol). I had a shaky start to undergrad but in my 3rd year I had around a 3.7, and so far this year I have a 3.9 (and this semester is significantly less challenging than the first). My question is, if I choose to do an extra year of classes, will schools take into consideration my 4th year and then the extra year after graduating? Or should I look into masters/second degree options? Sorry if these are noob questions, I just joined and would appreciate any feedback. Thank you. quick edit : Are these schools policies the same for dental school as well?

NutritionRunner
Don't know about dental schools. If you don't graduate, taking a fifth year will be no problem, as long as you study full-time and have the majority of your courses at the 3rd/4th year level. If you graduate, and then go back and do an extra year, some medical schools (ie. Western) have special rules you have to follow.
future_doc
Depending upon other parts of your application and your ability to shine on the interview, you have a shot as is, so I would apply and perhaps go for a one year MPH.
