chocolatemilk
I'm applying this year for 2014 enrollment in Ontario. My undergraduate degree is a BS in Biochemistry from Arizona State University. I don't understand how my grading will change when converting to Canadian grades. In America, 90-100% is A- to A+ 80-89% is B- to B+ I understand that Canadian grading is: 80-100% is A- to A+ I did well in school, 40% of my grades were B's and 60% were A's give or take. Will all my B's be converted to A's and all my A's converted to even higher A's because of the percentage differences? Someone make me happy and say yes... Holy **** if yes... peachaso
No. They will take what grades are on your transcript. Even in Canada it is often up to the professors what the grading scale will be. At least in my university, some classes are 90-100 = A- to A+. medigeek
Your grades will most likely be taken based on their letter grades. As far as I understand, and have understood, marking is tougher in Canada and quite different. Essentially, getting a 3.8 gpa in the US is just as hard in Canada.
