diabolix
Hey everyone, I just had a quick question about UWO med. In my second year, I took the equivalent of 6 full courses (10 half-credits, and 4 labs). I've heard that UWO would only take my top 5 courses of that year into their GPA calculation. I was wondering if they automatically count my 10 half-credits as my 5 courses, or could they possibly drop 1 of my half-credits and substitute in 2 of my labs? Thanks
IamIDP
Check their website or call them. It's better than asking random strangers who can give you wrong info.

Do not depend on secondary sources of information, go to the source directly. It's a very common question and I would say that information is probably on their website, or a friendly and professional email to the admissions department would answer your question. Good luck. Absolutely nothing every wrong with contacting them Nothing relieves stress faster than getting intel direct from the source I will say though that Western does as I understand it combine labs to equal full courses in such a manner to drop other courses. Since I came from Waterloo where labs are quite commonly a separate course that gave me a bit of leg up when applying to them.
