simrod10
nope... nothing under 10...maybe they just didn't like my supplementary application...and I'm a third year applicant, so I don't qualify for the weighting system. Also, I have one fewer year of ECs under my belt...
Savac
Sorry to clog up the thread, but we should add ECs onto the list to get a better idea. Sorry to everyone who has been rejected though. Come join the party over in the Queen's or uOttawa sub-forums
dpirrel
did anyone with below a 3.9 wgpa NOT get a rejection? starting to think that might be the cutoff for this wave. to those rejected, best of luck every where else. i got the snips from mac so i know the feeling. most of you seem to have decent mcat scores so keep your hopes up for queens. Admission average for last year was 3.90 GPA, doesn't make sense for that to be a new absolute cutoff
bluechowchowmix
I agree... there were some people last yr with a wGPA b/t 3.85 and 3.90 and still got interviews.
dpirrel
good point, just throwing it out there cause that was the only pattern i saw. waiting for someone to prove me wrong so we can get a better sense of what they're looking for. I called and sent a written request to have the wGPA as I took 4 in my last semester and 1 in summer due to a change or rule that i wasn't aware of. I had admin back me up. If UofT didn't accept my reasons for wGPA, I will have 3.75GPA P.S. I didn't receive the rejection email.
optimism101
I did not get a rejection, and I only have a wGPA of 3.76, so needless to say I am expecting one, just not yet!

dinosaur
Could they have been rejections for incomplete applications? Or perhaps missing pre-reqs? Because there appears to be very few regrets sent today (not typical of UofT) Just a hypothesis...

I sent mine kinda late (had to take 4 one semester due to illness) and I'm wondering if i sent it in too late. Given my wGPA of 3.88 and MCAT above cutoffs, I'm thinking my rejection makes more sense if they didn't apply the weighting for me...

shady
I wish I could get the formula. My GPA would be 3.97. Instead it's 3.87 and I'm not expecting much from UofT. Haven't gotten my rejection yet though

Haven't gotten my rejection yet though LOL. I'd love to have that problem. My cGPA below 3.7 and I don't qualify for the weighting. No rejection yet but fully expect one in the next weeks. silvantes
As long as I get weighting my gpa goes up to a 3.93 I believe I qualify but I wish they sent stats for weighting so I was sure. my cgpa: 3.7 I had only one bad course (experimental self-directed, not doing that again) and only a couple ok courses. come on weighting, and waiting... thebluthfamily
Is there any meaning to an application being rejected on the first day, like a weaker application? Or is it just luck of the draw (or lack thereof)?
