schumpeter
I really suck at the questions that tells me to "discuss" something (Consider the ethical problems that X's behaviour might pose. Discuss Y issue with the interviewer). I have no idea how to structure my answers and I'm not sure if I'm expected to take a side or not. Actually I have no idea what's expected of me. How do you guys approach this type of question? (Do you give it a structure? How do you structure it? What in the world do I discuss? I can go anywhere...) Some tips: * state your opinion clearly since they said there is no right or wrong answer. * explain why you think that way with several points. * it will be great to incorporate one of your EC's activities as the support unemotionally. * concluding. MD Consultants
Always take one side as there is no right or wrong answer. Be polite, justify, why you took that side by throwing in your own real life examples. Do not take both sides, it's like keeping leg on two boats and you are in for disaster. wutdo
Pretty related to the OP so I will ask here. Do you think it is better to spend more time justifying your own stance on the scenario? Or should you say I know that some people feel blah blah while others blah blah...
