Q about SWOMEN

Recommended Posts

In the 2011-12 application cycle, a minimum score of 8 in any one section of the MCAT is acceptable as long as the combined score for Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Verbal Reasoning is 30 or more. The minimum score for the Writing Sample is O.

The minimum GPA is 3.7 for applicants both in and outside Southwestern Ontario.

Just a quick question, did anything above change for the 2012-2013 application cycle or did all the numbers stayed the same?

ha - no worries - those swomen states have been quite stable over the last bit but of course could change at any time. We should know for this year very soon :)

yes most likely! unless you don't meet the requirements for course loads, appropriate number of courses for the corresponding years, graduation status...

absolutely - the school reserves the right to not interview someone who obeys all of the rules but I have never seen that actually used. Probably just a reserve position in case the person is a clear non - candidate for some reason.
