have1goal
How have the results been for January 2013 MCAT writers? (score release date to be announced) Has the removal of the WS encouraged more difficult VR, BS, and PS questions? I wonder if more people will come out with 37+ MCAT scores, as a common score is about 30-33.

Quantum
The mean total score in 2012 was 25.2. Since this is a scaled exam, there is no reason to believe the 2013 version would score any differently than the 2012. https://www.aamc.org/students/download/320554/data/combined12.pdf.pdf

I see what you are thinking might happen, I just don't think that it would and gosh 37+ is a pretty rare score - something like 1% of all people trying and that includes people thinking they have a shot at medicine. Jaybird
Didn't some dude get 45T in the US a couple years ago? I wonder how he studied... By the numbers, the top x% are going to get 45T...so I guess he studied better then everyone not in that xth percentiile

I think anyone who has written the MCAT would agree.

have1goal
It's now the time many of us have been waiting for. Results should be out any minute now. Since nobody has posted their mark yet is there a link that can provide the average score of all the January writers? I can't seem to find any on the aamc website
