EC's: Lots of long term stuff, CEO of student council, research with abstract at international conference, hospital volunteering, been involved in leadership since high school including a forum with Lieutenant Governor

How you felt about essays: I felt good, I spent a long time on them and made sure they were clear, concise, and sounded confident :)

EC's: prep lab intern (dissections at UC Berkeley), head lab assistant (basically in charge of mouse colony + PCR + admin stuff), emergency research associate (patient contact via surveys + individual research), research assistant (involved surgeries, injections and drawing blood from rats), theater costuming help

How you felt about essays: I felt really good about them actually, I basically cleaned up and really polished my CV and PS from my AMCAS app

EC's: Research 6 years, publications (1 1st author, 2 2nd author, 1 manuscript 1st author), multiple scholarships (excellence, undergrad research scholarship, international exchange scholarship, 4 graduate excellence scholarship), Society for Neuroscience international conference poster presentation, cadets for multiple years, pilot, volunteer since high school (hospital, schools, tutored in Canada and Asia), etc.

How you felt about essays: My essays were heartfelt. I am satisfied with their content.

How you felt about essays: I put my entire heart into these. To be honest, I think they are what got me the interview.
