dazzle
Hi all, I am hoping to draw on the experiences of previous interviewees at McGill. I was offered an interview and the website mentioned some physical movement would occur in the interview. They also advice wearing shoes that are comfortable enough to stand in for hours. They could mean that one interviewee must dress as comfortable as they would need to if physical activities were on the program, but the fact that the interviews are in a medical simulation centre scares me. I don't have serious disabilities but I cannot stand without discomfort for long (I do have a condition). I would hope there to be enough occasion to sit down while doing the interviews and tasks. Either way, 10 minutes standing is not too bad, but if I must do this at every station, this could be a problem. Can you guys let me know if I should call to make special arrangement or should I be okay from what you remember?
dnao2
*Almost* all stations had a chair. I say *almost* because I can't remember if there were any stations that I didn't get to sit. You will be expected to stand for about 2 minutes each station while you read description. You can sit for the full 10 minutes during the rest station. The main room of the simulation center is a big room partitioned into smaller areas similar to a cubicle. Hope this helps and gives you an idea on how much standing/sitting you might expect. dazzle
Thanks dnao2. This reassures me. I might still place a call but just to let them know this exists.
