Intro and Exit Interviews?

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if the U of A has always had these intro and exit interviews, or if it's something new they've implemented this year?

Also, if it's not something new, can anyone tell me if there's a specific question you have to answer, or is it just 8 minutes of you talking about anything you'd like?

Any help would be appreciated!

I'm pretty sure you're given a scenario or asked an ethical/medical/communication/critical thinking type of question and then you 8 minutes to talk/discuss about it.

Also, if you have an interview coming up, and you don't even know what MMI consists of, I'd be a little worried. (Not to sound negative here)

Actually that's wrong. They had the 'warm-up' and 'cool-down' stations last year as well. No scenarios but they do ask you questions (obviously can't give specifics; gotta love non-disclosure agreements). These stations are NOT evaluated though, ie you are not assigned a 'grade' for these 2 stations and they do NOT factor into the admissions process calculations. Really they're there just so you can work some of the nerves out and feel comfortable.

I wasn't talking about the intro/exit stations though.

EDIT: Now, I realize that the OP was solely talking about intro/exit. I thought the second sentence was referring to MMI in general. My bad... Sorry!
