Emphi
My initial plan was to take Physics II at my university this approaching summer but it's no longer being offered this summer session. I would like to get the credit this summer at another institution within the city I live in but according to my current university, they will not accept the credit to be transferred to my home institution. I would be registered as a special student at the other school for the summer just to get my Physics II prerequisite and would have a second transcript solely for Physics. Is this risky for applications?

Is this risky for applications? Email the schools that you plan to apply for. Since they typically look at all of the classes that you take, I don't think it will be an issue. Still, it would be a good idea to get some confirmation from somebody in admissions.
buzzcar2012
I have usually e-mailed the admissions of the med school myself, or called the secretaries to confirm anything course related. Things change all the time and their feedback was very valuable. Helped avoid many sticky situations.
