What is in your official transcript?

Have you seen your official transcript?

Which schools (or programs) disclose the class average and your relative standing in each course?

UG or Med? I have seen both - neither ones from Waterloo, Guelph or meds at Western reveal any such data.

Toronto had rankings on at least the unofficial one but I cannot remember if that was on the official one as well.

Both average and letter grade? and no class size, what a joke of a university.

That shows how little you know. Guelph is world-renowned for its veterinary college, for nutrition, and for food science. Out of all the universities in Canada without a medical school, Guelph has the largest research funding. Hardly a joke.

False

Guelph is 12th. Ahead are York and Waterloo.

I'd hardly trust wikipedia. But if you want to use wikipedia, here you go for Guelph: "The school is noted for receiving the most health related research funding than any other Canadian university without a medical school and for having one of the highest proportions of life science expertise per capita than any other university in North America. This has ultimately led to the current focus of the University in the areas of health, food, environment and community."

I took my information from here: http://www.uoguelph.ca/info/factsfigures/research/

"Guelph is among the most successful universities in attracting research funding. University of Guelph faculty attracted more research dollars per capita than any other comprehensive university across Canada."

And from here: http://www.lib.uoguelph.ca/about/recruitment/

" Guelph is the second most research intensive university in Canada, the first among non medical schools"

http://www.uoguelph.ca/president/report/bigpicture.shtml

But I really don't care what you think. :) I'm just replying to set the record straight for anyone who might be considering Guelph.

ha - you saved me from searching :)

Seriously if you go to the school you see the impact of these everywhere. It is perhaps pretty focused research funding but it certainly is there. Of course I should declare bias as I have a degree from there.

Endowments are extremely useful of course but often seem to me a function of time a bit. As I understand it a lot of that comes from alumni from their estates etc.
