Rorzo
We used human cadavers for a dissection/anatomy class in 3rd year at Guelph, maybe other schools offer something similar? Otherwise I've seen students from other schools doing research in human anatomy here, that could be another option.

medigeek
Go watch the saw 6 ending on youtube, and some other saw movie ending scenes. If you can stand it without any problems at all, you're probably good to go.

thebouque
Is there any way to experience anatomy lab in UG? I don't want to find out once I'm in medS that I vomit every time I see human intestines. Don't worry the vast majority of the doctors don't see human intestines on a regular basis

For example, exercise science at concordia offers this, and the university is not even affiliated with a med school. I dont think it's that uncommon to have anatomy labs with prosections for UG. Clever
We got to dig around cadavers in a first year KNES class at UofC. We didn't cut, but we got to see and touch basically everything. There are upper level classes where you actually get to dissect, but I didn't enjoy the first year labs enough to do more advanced stuff.
qszwdxefc
The anatomy course at western also lets you see cadavers. You don't actually get to dissect them but they're there for you to see
medigeek
I thought you weren't supposed to talk pics/video of autopsies in respect of the person who donated their body to science and medical education? The body wasn't donated in that video.. and autopsies aren't done for purposes of science in that regard, but rather forensic science. To determine and confirm cause of death. RaVen777
You get used to the sight of cadavers pretty quickly. It is weird and a bit difficult for some (myself included) for the first bit, but once you are in there digging around and memorizing things, it is NBD.
