Sebriz
To whom it may concern, As the time to our interview nears, more and more people come to these forums as a source for information. In the past, the U of S section used to be really only that, a place for people to discuss issues pertaining to this university and the admissions process. A place to congratulate others successes and to assist others through their failures. In recent times and in my opinion, there has been an increase in the amount of immaturity in this section. What gets me most is the spreading of misinformation combined with an overall sense of childish behaviour. I feel that this makes our university look even worse on top of all the admissions and accreditation issues. Trolling is a result of the “mask” of internet anonymity but pre-med forums are no place for it. This is not a youtube comments section, xbox live or some other pointless forum, this is a place for pre-med and medical students to congregate and discuss relevant topics. I am all for joking around but I really am starting to find the trolling ridiculous. You know who you are. It is not funny. Please stop. -Sebriz
