jrmch
Right now, I work in an office setting so I wear heels to work (cubicle job, little walking). When I worked as front-line staff, I wore Birks or flats.
dazzle
I wear New Balance shoes. They are my favorite from those I have tried in my life (I haven't tried many kinds of expensive shoes though). If I need black shoes, I have some Hush Puppies that are really comfortable for working.
Orcamute
I am surprised, I thought more would be working in a Hospital Setting or at least volunteering/shadowing.
thebouque
I am surprised, I thought more would be working in a Hospital Setting or at least volunteering/shadowing. Obviously, brown or black leather oxford type lace ups. Nice leather loafers are all right. Crocs etc are acceptable in the OR, nowhere else. Boat shoes and topsiders are ok on weekends, but always wear socks (and no white socks please).
questforstarfish
In the hospital I wear some kind of Nike Airwalk. They're the most comfortable shoe I've ever had- $120 and it literally feels like they're springing you forward as you walk! Lots of shock absorption and cushioning, I love those things
