Can one use LoC for relocation?

yup most loan officers at banks just do not have a clue about professional lines of credit.

Did you think of buying the furniture at Sears (or other store that is also in NL), and then picking it up there when you get there? May save on room/shipping! Or maybe not. Hm.

 

Yeah, we were going to sell off most of our things and buy there but due to all of the things we still had to bring and all of our children's things we would have still needed a UHaul. So we looked into getting a small UHaul and checking out furniture over there... because of how hard it is to get on the island prices reflect as much, we would be paying 2-3 times as much to buy on the island. So then we changed the plan again... buying here cheaper and lugging it all over, makes moving in easier as we wont need anything.
