rolex78
I want to be in the medical field and I know being in the medical field means that I will see blood and such. But what other careers (other than pharmacist, physical therapist) are there that do not deal with too much blood?
duck_season
I would say the majority of medical professions don't require staring at pools of oozing blood. Audiologist, chiropractor, dentists, medical assistant, various medical tech careers, certain types of nurses (rehab, geriatrics, etc.), OTs, PTs, opticians, psychiatrists, speech pathologists, x-ray techs (unless you're covering trauma injuries) ...... it's a long list

Karma
Pretty much everyone, from the doctors to the cleaning personnel in a hospital sees blood. Also, during your training in medicine or nursing, you'll see blood quite often. Don't be so quick to dismiss such a big proportion of professions in health before you are sure you absolutely can't handle blood though, because you get used to it pretty fast. Do some volunteering in a hospital and decide afterwards. Also, there's so much more to these professions than just seeing blood all day hehe. Lactic Folly
Doesn't cooking turkey tetrazzini involve seeing blood, at least somewhere along the line?
