FishPaladin
Hey guys! I'm writing my MCAT this summer and I was curious as to how long it would be "valid" for when applying to U of C and other canadian med schools. I looked in the application manual and it doesnt really say much about the expiration date. Thanks!
Vidhya
U of C currently does not have an expiry date for the MCAT. Other schools differ though, so if in doubt I would definitely email the admins to double check.
surferdoc
This would be a great question for the blog. Dr. Walker is really good about getting to people about 'process' questions. It's probably better to get an important answer like this from the horses mouth.
Hockeynut
Don't quote me on this but UofC will be reevaluating their usage of the MCAT come the change in 2014. So in the near future you may not need your MCAT score to apply to UofC.
Sunshine4Isa
I had asked this question to the admissions office. I was told that MCAT scores don't expire until the changes to the new MCAT format (it doesn't matter when you wrote the test, basically). At that point, if they still require the MCAT, I assume we would all have to take the new format... But this is just me speculating.
