mt229431 Posted July 10, 2013 Report Share Posted July 10, 2013 Personally, I don't think it's an award/accomplishment unless you were invited to go, or perhaps you were awarded a travel grant. Depending on the conference, it could probably be considered medically-related experience. Otherwise, I might put it down as an extracurricular activity. My stuff wasn't medically related and it was related to what I was doing in my program at school, so it wasn't extracurricular either. The awards/accomplishments section was the only place that seemed reasonable to put it in my case (I would say it's an accomplishment rather than an award).
