September MCAT to submit for October 1st MED app deadline

I know this has been discussed (sort of) previously. However, at UBC I see in previous years that they are explicit that they need to receive MCAT scores by October 1st. I'm writing my MCAT on Sept 11. I suppose I'm too late to apply at UBC? Ontario schools are different if you release your scores immediately when you receive them. Does anyone have experience with this here? I'd appreciate it!

UBC has been explicit this year in stating that the last MCAT that can be used for this cycle is the August 31st 2013 writing. I'm not sure if there will be leniency, since I have not experienced the process myself.
