On the WebApp online application form, there is a section for "Referee Information", which requires us to indicate TWO referee contact information in order to send reference letters. This clearly contradicts what the McGill admission site says - no letters needed! Anyone else see this problem? Is this a technical glitch?

I have the same issue, and the help section for that page doesn't even mention medicine applications (except post-grad).

I think that means we just have to wait until they resolve the problem..: "Hi, There seems to be a system glitch and we are working to have the issue resolved. Referee letters are not required for the MDCM program. Regards, -----"
futurefamilydoc Posted September 22, 2013 Report Posted September 22, 2013 In case anyone is still experiencing this issue, if the WebApp is still asking for references and you can't submit, just start an entirely new application and the references section no longer shows up, as they fixed the glitch

I tried creating a new account, but was stuck on the "Program Choice (currently available for term)" page. There are no drop-downs available for the 'Programs' prompt. Therefore, I can't continue with the application. Did you encounter these problems? Also, did you have to use a different email to create the new account? Thanks again for the heads-up!
futurefamilydoc Posted September 28, 2013 Report Posted September 28, 2013 Hello, I didn't make an entirely new Minerva account, I just started a new application from the applicant menu, and I used the same email. I did not have a problem with the program choices, maybe you made a wrong selection in one of the earlier options?

I'm having a similar issue. I can only select "Summer" for the semester...
TheKeyserSoze Posted October 4, 2013 Author Report Posted October 4, 2013 Hello I submitted my Webapp this past week and haven't gotten any reply for opening my Minerva account - anyone also have this problem? It seems like the McGill system is really glitchy these few weeks.
