Myun
Hi everyone. I was just wondering because I was confused when I tried searching around: Does U of M PA program require an interview process this year before being chosen for the program (for Sept. 2014 start)? I know in the past they had interviews, MMI, essay, etc., but from what I could gather from their website they only look at the application, GPA, and references before choosing people. Is this just used to choose applicants for interview, or do they just choose applicants for the program without any interviews at all now? Thanks for any responses! pahopeful67
My understanding is they select applicants for an interview based on those criteria (essay, GPA, references, ECs). You're right it's hard to find any mention of the interview except where it is mentioned on the FAQ page in passing. The interviews were early March last year and invites were sent mid February or so. They have not mentioned anything to us about abolishing the interviews for the upcoming cycle. Hope this helps! synapsis87
Just to add to that, the director of our program confirmed today that there is still an interview component to the application.
