McGill gen surg vs francos

Hello everyone,

 

I was wondering if the general surgery program at McGill is a good one (exposure, reputation, ...), and if getting accepted is hard (I know it's hard, but is it one of the hardest to get accepted into). I know that UdeM has a great, very strong program with a great reputation. For people with some experience, can you tell me which one is according to you the best (pros/cons).

Not in gen surg myself but I know many residents who are at both McGill and UDM. They all seem happy with their residency, but of course the program at McGill is overcrowded with fellows and foreign residents so the exposure is probably not as good. It's only hearsay, to be confirmed
