sasktime Posted March 20, 2014 Report Share Posted March 20, 2014 Hi All, Just wondering if anyone read the recent budget and had any thoughts on it http://alberta.ca/budget-highlights.cfm Specifically with respect to: "This includes an additional $32.5 million to create 2,000 new full-time spaces and encourage collaboration throughout Campus Alberta to support a booming population." I wonder if Redford's resignation might slow anything down as well? I think once the fiscal year starts we might find out how that money is actually distributed, more seats the better for everyone. No confirmation yet from Dr. Walker regarding the number of seats for this year after these news ..I am assuming he doesn't want to comment on this before the med school hears from high decision makers.
