Also, wouldn't this recording have to be going on for a few hours since we don't know what time the e-mail's coming and the title would probably give it away?

Sorry! My quote was from the link in the actual e-mail. Didn't mean to scare anyone.

 

The actual e-mail does say results but I guess they only want you to submit it if you get accepted

If anyone's wondering, acceptance times in the past few years have been approximately

 

2013: ~7:57

2012: 8:30

2011: ~8:30 (can't find any timestamps but earliest post was 8:32)

 

I guess I'll wake up at 7 and hang around here.

I did, and I definitely did not get this email. The fact the page used to actually specify acceptance and some people didn't get it, it looks like they only sent it to people who got accepted. Thats pretty crappy of McMaster to do that...
