sfuguy
Just wondering if the RBC LOC is frozen after graduation or does one still have access to the available funds to supplement the resident salary?? I cannot find this explicitly stated on my contract. It only discusses interest payments only until after grad+residency+12 months.
trojjanhorse
You should have access to your LOC throughout residency. Once you finish your residency program, your Student LOC will become a Professional LOC for your other needs (still at prime %).
CIBC_Professional Edge
You should have access to your LOC throughout residency. Once you finish your residency program, your Student LOC will become a Professional LOC for your other needs (still at prime %). This is typically true, though you need to actively speak with your advisor to ensure the transition from Student to Professional occurs. Otherwise, by default the LOC will transition into a term loan at a prescribed rate of interest
