equus
I will be starting my 5th year of full-time undergrad this fall. Unfortunately, I am not permitted to enroll in 4th year classes this year, as the director of my program has told me that all 4th year classes are reserved for 4th year students, and since I will be in 5th year, I am excluded from enrolling in them.My question is, will my 5th year meet the requirements to count as one of my 2 "best years" at Western if I don't take any 4th year classes?I will be taking the following:- 3 full-year course equivalents at the 3rd year level- 2 full-year course equivalents at the 2nd year levelI've already emailed Admissions asking about this, but I received a confusing answer. I don't think they understood my question.

I don't think they understood my question. You'll be fine. 3rd and 4th year courses are equivalent for UWO med admissions purposes.
