StriveP
I was wondering if there was any way AAMC would allow me to write the MCAT on paper instead of on a computer? I recently realized when I write my exam (particular the VR section) my eyes strain and the screen feels weird (very hard to explain but when I go to the next line I have hard time finding it). My eye prescription is pretty bad itself (-9 in each eye)...do you guys think AAMC would allow this? Edit: The difference in my score is 3-5 points on the VR when writing the exam on paper vs computer.
jdoc18
I've never heard of someone receiving special accommodations for "eye-strain". Unless you actually have a serious medical condition that an ophthalmologist can attest to, which prevents you from reading on a computer screen, then I do NOT think the AAMC will provide accommodations. advair250
No. That is not a special accomodation.
