Is it to late to apply for US schools

Hello guys

I am having a bit of trouble deciding whether i should apply right now to US schools.

I just got my MCAT scores (10,10,10) and my GPA is ~3.66 with an upward trend.

ECs-2 first author publications, lots of volunteer and work with people with intellectual disabilities (3 awards), and other average applicant stuff.

Its July 27 and I just started my application, and I think i can rush my primaries to be in before 1st week of August

 

But I don't know if that's a good idea, since i hear if you get rejected and have to apply next year, then they look at you unfavorably? but it is also 1 year lost.

 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. PLEASE HELP

You are on the late end, you won't be verified until end of August at the earliest.

 

Wait until next year for a 1st day application and that you aren't labelled as a re-applicant.

I would say you aren't too late yet. but thats coming from me who hasn't submitted primaries yet. Started early in may, aimed for end of june submission but got delayed outside of my control, looking to submit by end of weekend.

Sorry to say this - you're average or under average, most schools already had thousands applications equal or better than you, what's the chance to get an interview this year?
