ArdentMed
Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone's attended this school before. I've taken online courses there such as Calculus II and was thoroughly impressed, although I haven't attended any (physical) class. Has anyone ever gone there or done any lab courses there? If so, how was your experience there? I myself am going to UBC, but may make the switch soon due to various reasons. Thanks in advance.

lozah
That particular friend was actually attending TRU's Kamloops campus for a 4-year degree. They really enjoyed it –*I think that the size of TRU is great because it's small enough for you to build relationships with your peers and professors, but large enough for many interesting opportunities. I don't go there, though, so feel free to take that with a couple grains of salt! I have another friend who has taken a couple 200-level biology courses on TRU-OL – I think they found it rough without an instructor and regular lectures. It all depends on your learning style, though. I don't think the 2nd friend's courses had any lab components.

Just curious, if you don't mind sharing, what are your reasons for leaving UBC? How many years have you completed at UBC?
