SpencerV
For U of T's personal essay that pertains to leadership: Describe an experience you had working on a committee or group with members from diverse backgrounds. How was the leader of the group chosen? Is there an essential characteristic for leaders of such groups? Why? What are your thoughts on choosing an example where you were not the one selected as a leader?
Birdy
I think it is fine. The person I have chosen to write about is a fantastic example of leadership, which is why I chose them. Had to leave off the subject's name though because they happen to be a somewhat visible alumnus of U of T med. Didn't want it to seem like I was name dropping. :-/
SpencerV
Right, I ended up choosing mine because it was a very diverse group and the leader ended up doing a great job.
