Year Long Mcat Prep Plan

I ended up not writing the MCAT this year because I didn't have enough time to buff up my uber weak science background. I just had too far to go to obtain the knowledge required for the exam. But I did learn quite a bit and am thinking that my second round of studying is going to go much better as my understanding of all of the sciences has improved substantially.

So, here is my plan (keep in mind I have no other commitments except working 2 days a week):

Now until February 21 I do my biochemistry course. It's pretty hard, so I need to devote a lot of time to it. I will also work through my Kaplan Behavioural Sciences book.

When I'm done biochem and behavioural sciences studying, I will go through the rest of my Kaplan set and write my first MCAT on May 22.

From there I will take a prep course and pretty much devote my life to it until it's over on July 26.

I then study concerningly obsessively until I write my second MCAT on August 21.

A normal human being might stop here, but I can guarantee you I will not let myself stop studying and will probably write a 3rd MCAT on September 12th.

So this is my plan, and I kinda feel it's nuts. I'm also prophisizing a burnout. But because of my mediocre GPA, I need a really really good score on the MCAT to get an interview. Does anyone else have a better way of preparing for next years MCAT without being/going bat s**t crazy?

Believe in yourself mate. The MCAT isn't that bad after you get the hang of it. Do tons of practice tests.

I'm also worried about that. I still have lots of practice tests for the old MCAT that I will absolutely do, but we still don't know how many full length AAMCs we're going to get! :/
