Work Experience/Activities Section

Hey Everyone,

I'm just about done my AMCAS application (I know, I know, shoulda done it earlier)

I just had a question about the Work Experience section. With over 1300 characters to describe the experience, how touchy-feely should I be getting?

Is this just a straight description like I would on a resume? Or should I be talking about what I learned and what I took from the experience?

Thanks,

Magnum

It should be a straight up description, just like on a resume. Keep it brief but make sure you include all important info on it.

Don't write what you learned, etc. First off you will not have any space and second the adcoms will (hopefully) be able to figure out what you learned. If not they will ask you to elaborate on an experience in the interview part. (That is what happened to me.)

I stuck to descriptions in the activities section. I elaborated somewhat on a few MAJOR experiences in my essay, but mostly went into more detail during interviews.
