schools accepting canadians

UCONN, in-state tuition starting 2nd year of med school

Good idea moo!

 

I'm sure others will post updates to the list.

 

Mine are:

 

-Stanford has no aid for Canadians (but they should have a * as they do seem to regularly interview and accept Canadians)

-UPenn also has full scholarships available

I wish I would have known about that UCONN tuition thing last year...I would have applied there.

 

Most places are the reverse. I.e. Upstate give non-residents in-state tuition after first year, but not Canadians.:rolleyes

US schools need 3 years of premed or 4 years? Do u know schools accepting after 2 years of premed. I don't care even if they are ranked low. I am in UT..GPA around 3.75...appearing for MCAT

All US schools require a 4 year degree as far as I know. They all require a bachelors degree (minimum). You'd have a hard time getting accepted with only 3 yrs, especially as a Canadian - if they even accepted only 3 yrs.
