Am I the only one totally lost on how to approach the BPEs? I'm not even sure where to start. I wrote whatever came to mind for one of the questions and it's the worst thing I've written in my life -___- Does anyone have any suggestions or tips on how to get started and what approach to use?

Ummm... If you mean for U of T med, the deadline to apply was October 1st. I'm pretty sure you can't submit them now so it doesn't make much of a difference. If you mean the ones for next year, they will be different so there's no point tearing your hair out over these ones.

I prefer the "free association" method for this kind of thing. Just start answering freely and start a new paragraph whenever you come up with a new idea you can elaborate on. Then reorganize the paragraphs so it logically flows and condense each to a single sentence because, you know the word limit.

For future reference, I wrote mine while reading my own autobiographical sketch.  With the character limit of 150, I used the essays to elaborate my NAQ items, and I believe it worked
