futuredoc2323
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on if i should retake some first year courses (which i did not do so well in) to boost my GPA and science GPA. Are Athabasca courses a red flag for med schools/ US DO schools? Thanks in advance!
aaronjw
If I recall correctly, your first grade is the one that will count towards your gpa calculations. Retakes are not considered. Someone else may have more concrete info.
Hopefullll
I think UBC will take the average of the two grades? At least this is what they do for prerequisite courses anyway "When prerequisite courses are repeated, due to failure, both the initial and successful attempts are included in the prerequisite average. These rules will still apply if the academic year with the lowest academic average has been removed"
