Up2Date
Hi everyone, I had a really bad first year and it is killing my cumulative GPA. Even though I 3.8+ in other years. My cumulative GPA is a 3.49. What are the chances of my getting into Mac PA program? Thanks!
relaxingbath
Not sure if this is any help but 2 years ago (Nov '13) I went to their open night and they stated their average was 3.8GPA, so I think it all comes down to your supplemental application. Try and make yourself stand out show you have knowledge of the PA role and where its placed within the healthcare team. Good luck with your application. LetterO
I went to the Mac open house last Nov and the average cGPA in the program was 3.7. However, I wouldn't say marks are the only things that they look at since a friend of mine applied with a 3.8 but did not receive an interview. sprite
I thought I saw online here that the class average was around 3.54? anyways, 3.8 is so high wow
healthcarehopeful
I had an interview in 2013 with a ~3.5 cGPA and got an interview.
meowmeowwoof
If you have at least a 3.0 GPA, APPLY! That is the cut off criteria to have your supplementary application read by the admissions committee. I agree with relaxingbath! Work hard on the supplementary application as that is a component to whether or not you will be invited for an interview.
