I'm Canadian born but have EU citizenship as my mom is Irish and my dad is British and I lived in Belgium as a child. Does this mean I can do my residency in Ireland if I go there for medical school? I've heard conflicting things...

Yes it means you can. You need to pay international fees when you attend, but you can stay in Ireland for residency.

I graduated from RCSI. Loved it and think the education was fantastic. Having EU citizenship and being able to stay in Ireland (or move to the UK) after graduating makes the whole thing much less stressful. PM me if you have any questions.
