Calgary Interview Swap

Hey guys, I know this is a total shot in the dark but I figured it was worth a try! I am scheduled for an interview on the 22nd at 12:30. Unfortunately I am going to university out of the country and am unable to return to Calgary before the 25th. If there are any amazing kind souls that would be willing to trade their feb 28th slot (any time of course) for my feb 22nd at 12:30 I would be so grateful. I am more than bribable at this point!!

Hi guys, I am on the same boat as lilliancatho1. However I have interviews on both Feb. 21st and the 22nd and that is the only weekend those interviews are offered. So I really cannot interview at U of C any other day but the 28th. Would anyone please swap interview slots with me? I would be forever grateful

Hi, I have the same problem. I have interviews in Ontario on Feb 21, and 22.

So, the 28th is the only day I am available for the UofC interviews but there are no slots available.

Would anyone be willing to swap with me as well?

Have all of you called the office? If more people voice concerns they might start to understand the degree of individuals who are in similar situations, regardless of the reasoning, and have a potential solution.

I went to the admissions office and they told me that a lot of people are having that problem, and though it is unfortunate, there is nothing they can do about it. And they recommended posting on Premed101 and hoping someone would swap interview spots.

Maybe if enough people call they can send out an email to the 28th interviewees asking for volunteers to switch (airline style).  It's not in their favour to have tons of empty interview slots.

I'm unsure how the interview process works at UofT. Does it take up both days? Is it not possible to interview and fly out in the same day for the purposes of the second interview? I hope the situation works out for those of you in a tough spot.

The system only has 7:30 am slots available right now but people here have 12:30 slots and maybe one 9:45am slot (I am not so sure I got a ton of messages so I think the 9:45am might have been 22nd)

 

Also if you guys have not looked already Dr. Walker has updated his blog regarding the issue.

sorry I meant it for the 9:45 AM spot, maybe it was 2 minutes for all of the 28th time slots.
