Guest QuestionMan23213
Hey, I know its getting late in the cycle but I wanted to apply to 4 american schools right now. I was just curious for the Personal statement, the directions ask applicants to address the following question: "What do you want medical schools to know about you that hasn't been disclosed in another section of the application?" Does this mean we should not waste time talking about activities that we already put in our work experience section? If you do not do this, what do you talk about in the essay? I was planning on just using my essay for U of Toronto but the requirements seem to be different for the US. Other than stating why medicine, what else did some of you guys write about? Guest moo
If its a general statement then use it. Anything more specific that the schools want will appear on the secondaries.
